Which Medications are Covered?

Every medical plan has a "formulary." The formulary is the list of medications that are covered. Sometimes it is referred to as a "prescription drug list."

Preventive Medication List

For Consumer Choice Plan Enrollees Only

This list covers hundreds of preventive medications at no cost to you!

Preventive medications include drugs like blood thinners, medicines used to treat high cholesterol and hypertension, beta-blockers, antidepressants, and more.

Medications that are not on the preventive medication list will be 20% coinsurance after you meet your deductible.

Maintenance Medications

The Maintenance Choice network makes filling your maintenance medications easy. You have options for convenient home delivery through CVS mail order or local options, including:

  • CVS/Target Pharmacy
  • Costco Pharmacy
  • King Soopers
  • And more!

Easy and Cost-Effective

The Maintenance Choice network ensures the best pricing for these medications to ensure the long-term success of our benefits package.

Plus, if you're enrolled in the Hybrid Plan, you receive 90-day mail-order supplies at the cost of a 60-day supply!

Maintenance Choice

You must use Maintenance Choice to fill maintenance medications.

These are long-term prescriptions that you fill for at least an 84-day supply.

PrudentRx Copay Program

For Hybrid Plan Enrollees Only

The PrudentRx Copay Program allows you to get select specialty medications at no cost to you. If you need a covered medication, PrudentRx will work with manufacturers to assist you and manage enrollment and refills on your behalf.

If you're currently taking a covered medication, PrudentRx will reach out to you to register for the program. You must register to be fully enrolled. If you are currently enrolled in the PrudentRx, you do not need to re-enroll.

For specialty medications that are not on the PrudentRx list, your cost is capped at a $200 copay for a 30-day supply.
